How ExactUpscale handles your data. Short version: your photos are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded or stored, and this site uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking.
The data controller responsible for this website is:

When you visit this website, the web server technically records standard access data: your IP address, the date and time, the requested page, the referring page, and your browser type (user agent). This data is needed to deliver the site, keep it secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. It is not merged with other data and is not used to identify you.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website). Retention: server logs are automatically deleted after 14 days.
The ExactUpscale tool enlarges images locally, in your own browser or on your own device. Your photos are not uploaded to our servers and are not stored by us. When you close the page, the images are gone from memory.
For a future hosted version of the service, any image would be processed only to produce your result and deleted immediately afterwards. Images are never used to train models and never shared with third parties. This policy will be updated before such a service is offered.
The site stores one preference, your light or dark theme choice, in your browser's local storage. This value stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings.
This site uses no cookies beyond purely functional storage, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. There is no cross-site or cross-device tracking.
All fonts are served from our own server (self-hosted). We do not use third-party font providers such as Google Fonts, so no font provider receives your IP address.
